Share Your Story With The Committee Tasked with Solving The Multiemployer Pension Crisis

The Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans (JSC), the Congressional entity tasked with finding a legislative solution to the multiemployer pension crisis, has been collecting stakeholder input to influence them as they craft a solution. The Committee has set the deadline to receive that stakeholder input as September 30th.
With that deadline less than one week away, it is imperative that you submit your individual stories, if you have not done so already. The JSC members need to hear from the men and women who will be directly impacted back home. Take Action!
We cannot say it enough. The JSC must understand that its work is about realpeople: people who have labored day in and out day out for a lifetime, people who are relied upon by their families and their communities, people who served our country as members of the military, people who deserve to retire with dignity.
Working families didn’t create this problem and it shouldn’t be on them to solve it.
In order to comply with stakeholder input submission requirements given by the Committee, the Teamsters’ Department of Political and Legislative Action is collecting the stories and submitting them in bulk.
